Carter Garza Music
Carter Garza Music is based in North Alabama as a solo Americana artist performing music with roots in west Texas country, punk rock, and Americana artistry in the vein of Joe Strummer, Todd Snider, Jimmy Buffett, Jerry Jeff Walker, Bob Dylan and the like. I have been carrying a guitar on my back for nearly two decades now, writing songs and performing as a soloist and as the front man of the One Night Onlys.
In 2020, I was recognized as an award winning songwriter by Sidetracks Productions; Justin Crisler and Eddie Yessick. In 2023, I was recognized and featured by the Hendley Group as a performer for Originally Huntsville, August 2023 edition. I have been steadily building material for a break thru LP entitled “Bootleg” that is set to record and release in the spring of 2024.
I have also partnered with Huntsville celebrated entrepreneur of the year Angela Panzica to feature as an open mic host for Stella’s Elixir Lounge in Huntsville, Alabama’s ever expanding downtown entertainment district. I consider myself to be an ambassador for the new and aspiring musicians in the Rocket City. I have put down roots recently in Middle Tennessee, but will always call Huntsville, AL home.
